Comments on Systems theory as a generalized basis for explanation

Systems theory has its fixed place in engineering education, although it often appears under other names such as automatic control or control engineering. If you search for "systems theory" with Google, you will find many "engineering systems theories". Design engineers use system theory practically, i.e. without having to think about it theoretically. I will come back to this.

Maturana quotes an explanation of how children are born in Chile: They are produced in Europe and flown to Chile by storks. H.
