The sender-receiver model, which underlies many communication theories, is shown here to be a special case of a broader systems theory, thus critiquing the naive use of the model in which people are treated as senders and receivers. |

The "world wide web" as a hyperlibrary (compare crash course hyperlibrary) is a technologically highly developed platform, on the basis of which communication processes can be understood in a correspondingly differentiated way.
